Bringing Home our 7th Good Food Award


There’s nothing like starting off the new year with good news! We are very proud to announce our Local Rye Crackers as one of this year’s winners at the Good Food Awards! Our crackers are made from a simple recipe, starting with local, organic rye flour, caraway seeds, olive oil, a pinch of organic sugar, and sea salt. The distinct rye flavor and flakes of sea salt make them a simple, yet sophisticated snack. Enjoy our rye crackers on their own, or try them paired with a soft cheese and one of our handmade jams.

You may have seen a Good Food Award sticker on a few of our products already, like our Green Goddess Dressing, Pickled Hakurei Turnips, and several of our jams, including: Strawberry Hibiscus, Red Berry Rose, Plum & Vanilla, and Pear & Star Anise. As our seventh Good Food Award, we could not be more thrilled to be recognized for our commitment to delicious traditional food.


So what does it take to be a Good Food Award winner?

The Good Food Foundation celebrates American food and drink crafters who demonstrate a commitment to creating tasty, authentic and responsible products and in doing so, bettering our nation’s food system. Over 2,000 entries from all 50 states are submitted each year. Products submitted to the Good Food Awards must go through rigorous trials of blind tasting and meet the high environmental and social responsibility standards. Our Local Rye Crackers won in this year’s snack catergory. The Good Food Foundation outlines the standards of this category stating “The winners in the Good Food Awards snacks category have met the highest standards of achievement with meticulously sourced, high-quality ingredients that have been thoughtfully prepared with the right snacking moment in mind. We consider these snacks the tastiest items to grab between meals!”
